As Banquet Manager of The Metropolitan, I have witnessed countless ceremonies both religious and civil, so when it came time to choose someone to perform my own ceremony it was a difficult choice. However,I know my choice was the right one. We don't know where to begin to thank you for the wonderful ceremony you performed for our wedding. It was so personal, so spiritual, so graceful and peaceful. As I look at the pictures, there are many tear-filled eyes in the audience. Everyone was touched by the spoken words as well as the spirituality and love present in the room.
We truly appreciate your suggestions from the candle lighting with our children to the presentation of flowers to our parents as well as the silent meditation that gave everyone reason to reflect.
We continue to hear from our guests that it was the nicest and most meaningful ceremony they have ever attended. Everyone was included and felt a part of the ceremony. We couldn't have asked for more.

It has been six days since our wedding and our guests are still calling to compliment us on our ceremony. It was exactly as we dreamed. Everyone felt involved and very much a part of our celebration. Even our parents and my grandmother told us how special it was .. although, as you recall, they originally wanted a Catholic ceremony in a church. We want you to know how very important you were to both of us, as planning our ceremony was truly the most important aspect of our wedding day. Being that Herbert and I were raised in two different religions, we needed to make sure we could incorporate both into our marriage ceremony. Our main goal was to have our ceremony customized just for us. From the very beginning, you were there for us 100%. Even on the first day we came to meet you, we felt you over-extended yourself to us. Whether it was deciding which poems to read or if we would have a ketubah, you showed us every option.
I have to tell you Susan, even now, 6 months later, people still talk about our ceremony. Our family and friends truly loved everything about it. Everyone was so impressed with the words you spoke that day, as well as the wonderful touching moments you helped us add to our wedding. Still to this day, everyone I meet asks what the best part of the wedding was and my answer is always the same. Without a doubt, it was the ceremony. We enjoyed every minute of it. It was a true reflection of everything we wanted.
Also, on a very personal note, I wanted to thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart in helping us to find a way to incorporate our deceased parents into our ceremony. With your help, you made Herbert and I feel overcome with joy - even though in some way it raised some bitter-sweet emotions.
